Idle Outpost was never a “classic” idle game, but it wasn’t a full-fledged RPG either — players spent most of their time trading and upgrading stations. Still, both we and the team at Rockbite Games understood that RPG mechanics could add more depth to the project and open up a new growth opportunity.
Sure, there was some risk in making major changes, especially with an already loyal player base we didn’t want to disappoint — but in the end, things are going well.
